Tournament
Coordinator - More In-Depth
Tournament Types
Different tournament types include Singles, Doubles, and Team.
Within each tournament, 20
cuts may be processed using squad styles of Standard, Matchplay,
and TV
Style with All Events. This combination allows an almost unlimited
variety of tournaments to be run.
Brackets (Royalty Free)
Up to 6
different bracket types (4 different bracket types in each squad) are available
for processing in a tournament. The available bracket types are:
8 Bowlers, 3 Games, 2 Winners
9 Bowler, 2 Games, 3 Winners
12 Bowlers, 3 Games, 2 Winners
12 Bowlers, 3 Games, 3 Winners
16 Bowlers, 4 Games, 2 Winners
32 Bowlers, 5 Games, 2 Winners
(with up to 14 different starting games)
Each of the types may be run as handicap/scratch, individual, doubles,
and/or team. Sponsor Brackets are also available.
Side Pots
Side pots are tracked as scratch during a scratch tournament and as handicap
and/or scratch during a handicap tournament. Up to 9
different side pots may be run within each squad. Side pots may be run as
handicap or scratch, and as individual or team.
A
50/50-Elimination style side pot is also available allowing an elimination style pot across
3 games. The starting game is variable and bowlers are moved on if their
scores are in the top 50% in each of the games in the side pot.
Winners
Winner amounts are automatically captured for each participant. This option
is one of the most valuable options offered in Tournament Coordinator. Winner
amounts are automatically captured for all brackets, side pots, and tournament
standings. Upon entering the final score in each squad, a Squad Pay Outs report may be produced showing the total winning amounts for each
bowler qualifying for a prize in all of the categories entered. This report may
be printed in individual bowlers or team order.
Tournament Pay Out
Checks
Tournament prize amounts
may be paid out by check directly in Tournament Coordinator. Checks are
printed on Versa Check or My Checks blank check forms. These
forms may be purchased at most business supply retail stores.
History
Tournament history may be captured following each tournament. History
may be viewed or used to produce statistical reports for each bowler or for a
specified tournament. A point system may also be applied for Tour or
Circuit standings.
Name and Address
The name and address database is a central focus point in Tournament
Coordinator. Bowlers entered into tournaments are automatically placed in the
database. Address information may be entered for selectively
producing address lists, labels, and envelopes (by selected
group or all).
